What is a fanfiction fest?
A fanfiction fest is a "challenge in which participants provide prompts (generally for fanfic) and then choose a prompt from a list compiled by the fest moderators. A fest may be fandom, pairing or character specific; it may have a particular theme, such as a holiday, a kink or a trope; it may be held to celebrate a particular event" (fanlore.org)
How will this fest work?
This particular fest will have the option to create prompts or challenges to writers or artists in the fandom, as well as create a space in which creators can have their work promoted.Because of that, this will likely not run like most fests you've seen in the past. There will be deadlines devoted to different things.This fest is to promote creations relating to The Devil Judge, the 2021 k-drama starring Ji Sung, Jinyoung, Park Gyu Young, and Kim Min Jung.

Prompting will be an optional phase in which you can create prompts for authors to follow. The prompting page will be available on Archive Of Our Own and is linked below.Main Writing Deadline - January 7
This deadline is for anyone who wants to write a fic but doesn't want to write for any of the other specific deadlines.Starting January 15
Fandom Bingo Card sign-ups will open. This will be open to fanfiction and fanart, as well as encourage interaction amongst the fandom with reading, commenting, bookmarking, and kudosing past fics and making friends within the fandom.Opening February 1
An interest check for a zine for the fandom will open February 1st. I will also be searching for co-mods for the zine at this time. The particular theme is currently not decided.
